How is volume calculated?
For rectangular shapes: Length × Width × Depth. For round columns: π × (Diameter/2)² × Height. The result is multiplied by the number of units.
Why add wastage?
Spillage, uneven sub-base and formwork deflection consume extra concrete. We recommend adding 3% – 7% to avoid a shortfall during the pour.
